The latest data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics clearly shows that private sector water utility workers are less likely to be injured on the job compared to government water utility workers.
The new Truth from the Tap infographic details this data, including that from 2011 to 2020, private sector water utility workers had a 21.5% lower rate of injury and illness compared to local government water utility workers.
