Texas Utility Valuation Reform Resources Added to Toolkit
Two new resources just posted to the Truth from the Tap toolkit focused on the benefits of utility valuation reform in Texas.
The first is a backgrounder – “Utility Valuation Reforms Encourage Water System Consolidation in Texas” – about how utility valuation reform in Texas has benefited regulated, private water company customers. Examples from Texas Water, a subsidiary of H2O America; CSWR-Texas, a subsidiary of Central States Water Resources (CSWR); and Aqua Texas are included in the backgrounder.
The second resource is a one-pager – “Three Facts About Utility Valuation Reform in Texas” – that highlights the reform’s unanimous support in the Texas legislature and from state regulators as well as details how the law determines a utility’s fair market value.
