New Resource: Debunking FWW’s Permitting Reform Myths
A new “Myth vs Fact” resource is now available in the Truth from the Tap toolkit: “Food & Water Watch on Permitting Reform.”
This resource directly challenges the false claims by Food & Water Watch (FWW) that recent legislative proposals, specifically the PERMIT Act (H.R. 3898) and the SPEED Act (H.R. 4776), would force municipalities to privatize their water systems and lead to higher bills and poorly run systems. We directly debunk these claims and detail how the bills actually focus on streamlining environmental permitting and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) reviews, not forcing the handover of municipal water systems.
This is yet another example of FWW’s pattern of spreading misinformation. Get the real facts and understand what these legislative efforts are truly about. Download this new resource today.
