New infographic highlights water companies’ exceptional SDWA compliance record
Study after study confirms the exceptional track record of water companies in delivering high-quality drinking water to customers across the nation. In a new infographic, Truth from the Tap™ highlights four studies and analyses that found the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) compliance rates of systems run by water companies are superior to those of government-run systems. The infographic highlights a 2018 study in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, a state-level analysis of the PNAS reports’ SDWA dataset, research from Texas A&M and Georgetown University analyzing SDWA health violations, and an analysis from American Water Intelligence.
