New infographic highlights water companies’ exceptional SDWA compliance record
Study after study confirms the exceptional track record of water companies in delivering high-quality drinking water to customers across the nation. In a new infographic, Truth from the Tap highlights four studies and analyses that found the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) compliance rates of systems run by water companies are superior to those of government-run systems. The infographic highlights a 2018 study in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, a state-level analysis of the PNAS reports’ SDWA dataset, research from Texas A&M and Georgetown University analyzing SDWA health violations, and an analysis from American Water Intelligence.
